Mapping For Our Walks

We have maps available for the festival in different formats

The Corwen Walking Festival has broken new ground by creating interactive guides of many walks from the festival and making them available to download, for free, on an Apple iPhone, iPad, and Android smartphones and tablets.

The festival has tied up with ViewRanger, the leading app for outdoor enthusiasts, to publish informative and navigable festival walking maps through the ViewRanger Outdoors GPS app.

ViewRanger powered maps are now available by clicking on the links below. These provide previews of our walks and allow maps and route cards to be printed.

ViewRanger is available to download for free for Apple iPhone and iPad via the appstore, for Android smartphones and tablets via Google Play, for Nokia Symbian phones via Nokia Store, and for BlackBerry BB10 and Playbook.

We have had produced a series of maps produced by Yellow Publications and we sell these at both the festival and in various outlets throughout the rest of the year. These laminated and waterproof maps are available in both 1:16,000 and 1:40,000 versions and are great small maps to show each of our routes.
